Through the years…

2001

In 2001, on the original Beauparc site in Slane, Co. Meath we began the development of our first EPA licensed facility which mainly processed C&D and C&I materials. In the following years this site has expanded greatly and remains a pivotal location for our SRF recovery.

2006

Cappagh In 2006, Beauparc acquired its Cappagh base in Finglas, Dublin 11. This became Beauparc’s first waste management facility which today has expanded to process commercial baling of cardboard and plastics and the transfer of organics, DMR and MSW.

2007

In 2007, Panda acquired Irish Packaging Recycling (IPR) from Smurfit Kappa. IPR’S services include the collection, sorting, baling and resale of multiple dry recyclable waste materials.

2010

In 2010, Beauparc acquired A1 Skips. A1 Skips provides skip collection services to domestic and commercial customers across Dublin.

2011

In 2011, Beauparc opened its state of the art material recovery facility (MRF) in Dublin. This facility sorts dry mixed recyclables from various sources and bales for export.

2012

In 2012, Beauparc established Spanners Limited. Originally acquired to provide servicing and maintenance to Panda’s vehicle fleets, Spanners now offers its services to a wide variety of customers.

2013

In 2013, Beauparc acquired a Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) baling station.

2014

In 2014, Beauparc acquired Ozo Waste, which had an annual turnover of 10.5 million.

2015

Launched in 2015, Panda Power supplies low-cost green energy to over 60,000 customers every year cross-selling electricity to Panda Recycling's 220k household customers.

2016

In 2016, Panda acquired New Earth Solutions - a UK based waste processing company. New Earth Solutions provides sustainable waste treatment services to a variety of local authority and commercial customers.

2017

In 2017, Beauparc acquired electricity producer, Bioverda Power Systems. Bioverda – formerly Irish Power Systems - extracts methane gas from landfill sites and generates electricity for resale to electricity providers.

2018

In 2018, Beauparc acquired Scotwaste. Based in Scotland, Scotwaste is a leading integrated skip hire and waste management business. Their recycling centre is based in West Lothian, serving customers in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Livingston and throughout central Scotland.

2019

Acquired by Beauparc in 2019, Mid-UK Recycling are a leading waste management company with a proven record of working with businesses and local authorities to achieve a genuine 100% landfill diversion.

2020

"Beauparc acquired LSS Waste Management in September 2020. LSS has served customers throughout West Yorkshire for over 36 years, providing them with a total waste management solution. Situated from the south Leeds base, they supply skips, mobile compaction and nationwide hire services to domestic and commercial customers alike. With a workforce of circa 100, the facility is permitted to process 350,000 tonnes of waste annually and has offtake arrangements for refuse derived fuel throughout the UK and Europe.

2021

Beauparc acquired JWS Waste Management in 2021. Formed in 1983 and independently owned since, JWS operate from a Salford-based material recovery facility (MRF). The MRF is permitted to accept 375,000 tonnes of waste annually and has commercial offtake arrangements for refuse derived fuel (RDF) throughout the UK. JWS operate in both the Commercial (C&I) and Construction (C&D) sectors, providing customers with a full range of services including skips, rollonoff’s, mobile compaction, hazardous waste and offering third-party waste disposal. The business also provides a full range of disposal recovery options to customers, including general waste, healthcare waste and recyclate recovery.

2022

Beauparc acquired B&M Waste in 2022. B&M Waste provide recycling-led waste management solutions to more than 8,500 businesses across the UK. Founded as a family business in 1999, B&M Waste today operate facilities in the Liverpool City Region, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and West Midlands conurbations. The acquisition greatly expands Beauparc’s portfolio in the UK, which already includes Associated Waste Management, JWS, LSS Waste, Mid UK, NES, Scotwaste and WSR Recycling.
